Dr. Vinod Kannarkat, MD is quadruple board certified in Internal Medicine, General Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) and Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from Georgetown University, graduating with distinction. He then remained at Georgetown University for his residency in Internal Medicine, receiving several teaching awards for being an excellent instructor to medical students.

Dr. Kannarkat then moved to the West Coast, and completed his Cardiology fellowship at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. To continue his training, Dr. Kannarkat completed his Cardiac Electrophysiology training at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. Currently, he performs cardiac electrophysiology procedures, such as ablations for Supra Ventricular Tachycardia (SVT), atrial fibrillation, and other arrhythymias; pacemaker implantation; and defibrillator implantation in both the Antelope Valley area and the Los Angeles area.
